SHIPPING

Time to Ship

All VintageLily Private Label products are made to order in our Norfolk, Virginia studio. Please allow 2-4 weeks for production and shipping of your selections. Diaper Bags and many of our Nursery Decor items are also custom made and require 2-3 weeks for shipping. All other in-stock gifts and accessories should arrive within 7 business days unless otherwise noted in the product description.

Cost to Ship

We will ship your order to the 48 states via United States Postal Service Priority Mail at a flat rate of $6.95 regardless of how large your purchase. Express Mail is available for an additional fee. Please note special service requests within your order details. Some of our inventory is held outside of our studio, boutique and warehouse and will be shipped seperately from other purchases. It is possible that these items will be shipped via UPS or another carrier but the shipping cost will remain the same.

Special Handling Surcharges

Occasionally we must add a surcharge for shipping oversized and/or delicate items. Any shipping surcharges are detailed in the product description and will appear on your receipt at checkout.

Shipping outside of the 48 States

We try to accomodate all of our customers' shipping requests. To that end, we will ship almost all of our merchandise outside of the 48 states if requested. The actual shipping costs will be calculated and charged to your credit card at time of shipment. You will receive an email requesting your approval of the charges prior to shipment of your items. ITEMS SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF THE 48 STATES ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

RETURNS

Custom Merchandise

As all of our signature items are made by hand, slight variations in size can occur and are not considered product imperfections. VintageLily will accept the return of custom merchandise only in the case of an error in shipment. In the unlikely event of defective merchandise we will do our best to replace the item with an identical product. However, as some VintageLily products are made to order limited editions, identical replacement is sometimes impossible. In such a case we will offer a similar product or full refund of the purchase price. We will honor this type of return within 90 days of purchase.

General Merchandise
We will accept general merchandise returns only upon prior approval. If you are dissatisfied with an item please contact us for a return authorization number. Returns of unused general merchandise in new condition and original packaging are accepted within 30 days of receipt. Customized, sale and promotional items are not returnable.

Return Process
Return the merchandise with all of its original parts, accessories, packaging, and materials. Pack the merchandise carefully, enclose a copy of your original order confirmation or a letter with your full name and address, and return it to:

Ensure that your Return Authorization Number is on your shipping label either below your return address or below our address. This will prevent your package from being refused and returned to you. Please obtain a tracking number and insurance on your package since we cannot be responsible for lost, late, damaged, or misdirected returns.

Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Once your return is received, it will be inspected and then the credit will be issued to your credit card (normally within 10-21 days). Please note the refund to your credit card will be for the amount of the merchandise less a restocking fee. We apologize for this inconvenience but we are only able to offer free or low cost shipping when the sale is completed and not when items are returned. The deduction is calculated as follows: 10% of the merchandise price up to $50.00, 20% of the merchandise price up to $100.00, and 30% of the merchandise price for $100.01 and above. This calculation allows you to know up front what your refund will be. If you wish to exchange your merchandise, please enclose a letter with your return describing what you would like in exchange. Any overpayments or underpayments will be credited/charged to the credit card used on your original order. Regretfully we are unable to accept the return of any item not returned in new and re-sellable condition.
